Agaasim is a payment platform currently in development, being built for Somali creators, freelancers, and merchants. We are based in Ireland. This website is our public waitlist while we build the product.

2. What data we collect
At this stage our website only collects waitlist signups. The data we collect is minimal:
- Your email address — when you submit the waitlist form
- Date and time of submission — recorded automatically
- Anonymous usage data — such as which country visitors come from and which pages they visit. This cannot identify you individually.
We do not collect your name, phone number, payment details, or any other personal data at this stage. This policy will be updated when the full product launches.
3. Why we collect it
We collect your email address for one reason — to notify you when Agaasim is ready and you can sign up for early access.
Under GDPR our legal basis is your consent. You submitted your email address voluntarily. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us and we will delete your data promptly.
4. How we use your email
We will only ever use your email to:
- Confirm you have joined the waitlist
- Notify you when Agaasim launches
- Send occasional updates about our progress
We will never send you advertising from other companies, sell your email address, or add you to unrelated mailing lists.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data to anyone. We may use a third-party email provider such as Zoho Mail to send you updates. Any provider we use is required to handle your data securely and only as we instruct them.
We do not share your data with any other third parties at this stage.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your email address until one of the following happens:
- You ask us to delete it — we will do so within 30 days
- You unsubscribe from our communications
- Agaasim does not launch — in which case we will delete all waitlist data
7. Your rights under GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access — ask us what data we hold about you
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data at any time
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Object — object to how we use your data
- Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting anything that came before
8. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your email address. Our website uses HTTPS and access to waitlist data is restricted within our team.
9. Children
Our service is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have, please email info@agaasim.com and we will delete it immediately.
10. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy as Agaasim develops — especially when the full product launches and we collect additional data. We will always update the date at the top when we make changes and will notify waitlist members by email if changes are significant.
